| In November, 1939 in Khabarovsk the three monitors of the 1190 project were laid: the "Khasan", the "Perekop" and the "Sivash". On 30 August 1940 the "Khasan" was launched on the Amur waters, and only in December, 1942 it became operative. Soon it was relocated to the place of permanent basing - Nikolaevsk-na-Amure Town. The place of basing was chosen considering the necessity of protection of the new industrial centre in the Far East - Komsomolsk-na-Amure, where the construction of ships for the Pacific fleet took place. In the years of war on the "Khasan" the professional training was held, as well preparing the staff for the front. During the war with Japan the ship occupied the combat site in the Tatar Strait, but did not have any armed contact with the opposite party. After the war the monitor was used for testing of different weapon systems. In 1957, after 15 years of service, it was excluded from the lists of the Pacific fleet and scraped. The model was executed as of 1951. The level of detail drawing is quite fit for the development of the interesting and imposing model. |
