| On 26 July 1899, within the building program of warcraft for the Far East at the French shipyard "Forge and Shantye" in Tulon, to the order of the Russian government the new battleship was laid, which got the name "Tsesarevitch". It became the first in the world fleet attendance battleship, the hull of which was protected to its water-line with two continuous ranges of armour-plates. On that time the ship had the powerful weaponization. The "Tsesarevitch" was included to the Pacific squadron. On finishing of the Russo-Japanese War, in February 1906 the battleship returned to the Baltic and after repair works was reclassified into a battle-wagon and included into the exercise cruise detachment. During World War I the battle-wagon covered the invasion and mine-field operations of the fleet light forces. Since 1916 it had been a part of the defense regiment of the Gulf of Riga. After the February bourgeois-democratic revolution it was renamed into "Grazhdanin" (this model-copy in gray was executed exactly as of the mentioned period). The level of detail drawing is quite presentable. Besides, the big quantity of detailed assembling schemes is worth noticing. |
