The instruction in English
The French cruiser, which was designed on the boundary conditions of the so-called "Washington" cruisers, i.e. the weight of the ship could not exceed 10000 tons, the caliber of the guns was limited to 8 inches. After going into service the cruiser was accepted into the third light division on the Mediterranean. From May 6, 1935 and to the end of the service the cruiser was the flagship of the cruiser forces. The first expedition for the "Algerie" was the chase for the German raider "Count Shpee", though the cruiser failed to find it out. Under the operation of France against Italy the "Algerie" participated in the bombardment of Genoa. The last operation in the war for this cruiser was the export of the convoy from Marseilles to Oran. In November 11, 1942 the Germans implemented the plan "Attilla" and tried to capture the remained French ships. On the night from November 26 to 27 the "Algerie" was standing at its moorings Milo no. 4. The blasting charges were laid with the purpose of sinking a ship in order not to yield it up to the Germans. Under the attempt of capture of the cruiser by the Germans in November 27 at 6.40 it was blown up by the crew. The ship was burning for almost three weeks. The model is performed as of 1941. The detailed drafting, the colour and the assembly schemes will please the most exacting modelers.
