| The electric locomotive ChS4t is rightfully considered to be the best electric locomotive of alternating current and, in general, the locomotive of the native railways. In spite of its age and the situation of the replacement of the locomotive park for the native products, the Czechoslovak passenger electric locomotive ChS4t became for many railwaymen and passengers the pattern of the native railways due to its expressive design, comfort and safety. In total 510 electric locomotives were built. The machines ChS4t, which got the endearing name "Teremok", were brought to the USSR and used in different railway directions: South-Western (Kiev), Byelorussian (Minsk), Moscow (Vyazma), Gorkovskyy (Kirov), South-Eastern (Rossosh, Michurinsk, Otrozhka, Griazi), North-Caucasian (Caucasian, Timashevskaya, Lihaya, Rostov), Privolzhskyy (Saratov) and even Krasnoyarskyy (Krasnoyarsk). Nowadays many hundreds of the electric locomotives ChS4t continue to work on traffic flow; supporting of the functionality and prolongation of the resource of the Czechoslovak machines are provided by the efforts of the workers of the depot and the repair mechanics. |
