| By the order of the minister of defense of the USSR of 29.06.1964 the Soviet Army adopted the armoured personnel carrier BTR-60PB, constructed by the design engineering bureau of the GAZ plant under the guidance of V.A. Ledkov. This machine was the last and the best modification of the armoured personnel carrier BTR-60. The series production of the armoured personnel carrier BTR-60PB was performed at the GAZ Plant in 1965-1975.
The armoured personnel carrier BTR-60 PB was a combat wheeled machine armed with the large-caliber machinegun KPVT of 14,5mm and with the paired with it machinegun PKT of 7,62mm in the turret installation. Among the peculiarities of this model one should mention a rather high quality of the details. The level of complexity is above middle. We recommend such a model first of all to the experienced modelers.
